We had the solemn blessing and inauguration of St. Anthony’s Convent, Tenyiphe. The blessing was done by Most Rev. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima and the ribbon was cut by Rev. Fr. Carlous V G of the diocese. The function began with a welcome address by Rev. Fr. Sajan our parish priest followed by an introduction by Bishop James Thoppil. Then the ribbon was cut and the blessing ceremony began. After the blessing, Bishop lit the lamp and officially inaugurated the kitchen. It was then followed by Holy Mass in the newly blessed chapel and the Blessed Sacrament was placed in the tabernacle. After the Mass there was fellowship meal / tea with the invitees and guests. The function was attended by many fathers and sisters form all over Dimapur and few invited parishners and teachers of St. Anthony’s School, Tenyphe.St. Anthony’s Convent is the 30th house of Corpus Christi Province.
